Eligibility

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  1. Hold a Master’s degree in Dentistry.

  2. Hold a Master’s degree in a field related to Life Sciences or Materials Science.

  3. Graduates of Medicine or Dentistry who have completed at least two years of residency training at a medical center or a teaching hospital affiliated with a medical school, with excellent performance evaluations, and who can submit a research thesis equivalent to a master’s thesis, subject to approval by the Director of the Institute.

Required Application Documents

Applicants should submit the following materials:

  1. Proof of academic degree(s)

  2. Official undergraduate transcripts

  3. Official master’s program transcripts or a certificate of residency/service issued by the training hospital

  4. Master’s thesis or equivalent research paper

  5. Research proposal

  6. Two letters of recommendation from faculty members at the Assistant Professor level or above
    (Recommendation letters must be uploaded directly by the referees in PDF format.)

Interview Eligibility Announcement:
The list of applicants eligible for the oral interview will be posted on the Institute’s website on April 21. Applicants should check the website directly. Individual notifications will not be sent.

Interview Schedule:

  • Date: April 28

  • Time: Starting at 2:00 PM

  • Location: Conference Room, 2nd Floor
    College of Dentistry Building (Old Site of NTU Hospital)
    No. 1, Changde Street, Taipei, Taiwan

Applicants are required to prepare a presentation on their previous research achievements and future research plans for the interview.
